Image by Cohen Millinery, Greenfield Village, Dearborn, Michigan. "Elizabeth Cohen was a young widow who opened this millinery shop as a way to earn money after her husband’s death. She designed new hats and redecorated old ones and always told customers about the latest fashions. She lived on the second floor of this building, where she took care of her children while running the shop. Built about 1880 in Detroit, Michigan."
